This book of mechanic's anecdotes is now published! It covers all aspects of the life of a racing mechanic in the 1950s, 60s and 70s with an emphasis on the humourous side but with poignant aspects for balance. For each copy sold, 40% of the royalties will go to the Grand Prix Mechanics Trust, a charity set up by Sir Jackie Stewart back in 1987 to provide financial support to mechanics who need it. Sir Jackie has written the Foreword for the book and has been a keen supporter of the project since it was first mooted.
